Honnørkajen

Welcome to Aalborg's Honnørkaj (Aalborg Royal Cruise Berth)! Honnørkajen in front of Aalborghus Castle is the anchorage for the royal ship and the many cruise ships that are docked on the Aalborg side.

Honnørkajen and the surrounding area have undergone major changes in connection with the renewal of Aalborg's harbor front. A green area has been created between honnørkajen and Aalborghus Castle, so that Aalborghus Castle can be viewed from the harbor side. The protected ramparts have also become visible again in the cityscape.

Honnørkajen is a recreational area where it is possible for the people of Aalborg to get all the way down to the water surface via the new wide harbor staircase that continues into the Limfjord.
