Teglværkssøerne is a beautiful natural area where clay was previously dug for Teglværket. This created several natural lakes, with a rich bird and plant life. Teglværkssøerne is located by Gandrup.

Today, the area is a nature park with a boat bridge for sailors, shelters and a campfire site, as well as nature trails. The lakes are part of a large nature area of 25 hectares. The brickworks lakes are the effects of Gandrup Teglværk's excavations for bluegrass for the production of yellow bricks. It took place for 40 years, from the 1960s until 2000.

There is a rich aquatic life in the lakes, where for example larvae and nymphs grow into insects such as spring flies and sloe wings. In the lakes there are also freshwater fish such as perch. Coal sugar, field horsetail, down hammer and squatter cabbage are some of the plants that you can find by the lakes.
