Toldbod Plads Springvandet

Toldbod Plads is located right in the heart of Aalborg in front of the Royal Customs Chamber, just a few steps from Aalborg's pedestrian streets and the waterfront. Denmark's first musical fountain erected in 2007 can be seen on the square.

Every day during the summer until week 42 (autumn holiday), residents of Aalborg, North Jutland and tourists can enjoy the beautiful fountains, which throw water into the air at different times.

Four times a day - at 12, 15, 18 and 21 the fountain is spiced with an overture from Georg Friedrich Handel's Water Music. The music plays for approx. 3 minutes

Play, music and life

The fountain is an obvious playground for children on a hot day. Nearby, it is possible to enjoy a cold beer John Bull Pub, a delicious bite to eat at Bistro V and, not least, go down to the waterfront and enjoy the atmosphere.
