Vester Aslund Plantage

Vester Aslund Plantage is located northwest of Gandrup. 66 out of the 100 hectares that include Vester Aslund Plantage are owned by Aalborg Municipality. In the lush forest areas there are a lot of cozy paths which are marked with colors to indicate the length of the route.

 

Tables and benches have been set up in several places along the routes. There is a parking lot at Hellighøje in the southern part of the plantation, and here is a primitive camp site with shelters and a campfire site. The plantation's different forest types provide good opportunities for mushroom walks in the autumn.
