Hjallerup Mechanical Museum

At Hjallerup Mechanical Museum you can e.g. experience the prototype of one of Denmark's first electric cars, some of Denmark's oldest and still functioning tractors, the solar car that crossed Australia in the 90s, Pastor Laiers Opel from 1937 and much much more.
The past, present and future meet at Hjallerup Mechanical Museum. It is possible to experience the development from the mechanization of agriculture and the entry of industry in Denmark up through the 1900th century.

Hjallerup Mechanical Museum exhibits tractors, cars, engines, motorcycles, agricultural machinery and other mechanics. In addition to vehicles, one can experience old radio and television sets dating back to the 1940s.

The museum is 2000 square meters and includes a cafeteria and meeting rooms and is also handicap accessible. 

The museum can be found in the old riding hall on the outskirts of Hjallerup town.
