Raschgaarden houses i.a. a memorial room for the painter Ole Magnus Rasch who in the period 1822 - 1862 lived on the farm. THE The pipe maker's house there are both textile exhibitions and pipe collections, among other things.

The Sundby Collections consist of several different buildings, namely Bryggergaarden, Raschgaarden, Pibemagerhuset and Brohuset.

The brewery

Bryggergaarden is Nørresundby's oldest residential house, built in 1791 after a fire. The farm is named after the brewery Skandia which belonged to the farm in 1855-1940. The house was converted into a museum in 1973 and contains, among other things, historic interiors from the 19th century and a collection of portraits of bailiffs, mayors and city councilors. The mahogany living room contains Bryggergaarden's oldest interior, which dates back to the 1840s

Raschgaarden

The memorial room in Rashgaarden is marked by the fact that Ole Magnus Rasch was from a priestly family. In Urtehaven, which belongs to Raschgaarden and was inaugurated in 1977, there is a collection of stones with walking blocks from the ice age, stones from the Bronze Age with bowl signs, millstones and millstones, and last but not least the legendary "Kjællingesten".

The bitch stone was found northeast of Lindholm Høje, in the current military training terrain, and according to folklore, it should have been placed over a witch who was buried at the site. If you walked around the stone at night, it was as if you were pricked under the feet with a knife or scissors.

The pipe maker's house

Pibemagerhuset was originally located in Vestergade 16, but was demolished in 1952 and rebuilt at its current location in Urtehaven in 1982-1986. In the house, chalk pipes from pipe maker Johan Adolf Rømer's pipe factory are exhibited. This factory was Jutland's first of its kind when it was built in 1772.

If you have the courage to immerse yourself even more in the pipe maker's house and Johan Adolf Rømer's history, you should be welcome, but you must read carefully. Click and read more about Johan Adolf Rømer.

The bridge house

The former ticket office at Pontonbroen over the Limfjord was demolished in 1933 and rebuilt in Nørresundby, where it was until 1992. Here it was moved again, now to its current location in Urtehaven and then arranged as a grocery store. The furniture was donated to the museum in 1992 and is a reminder of the many small merchants who used to be in Nørresundby and Sundby-Hvorup municipalities.
