Here's how you do it

Digital City Walks is a web app that runs in your smartphone's browser. When choosing a route you want to try, allow the web app to use the phone's gps, as well as allow knowledge of your location. The app then shows, via a map, around to various points - or motes - that you can unlock when you are close enough.
